Our Team

Angus Barrie, RDT
Lab manager

Originally from Scotland, Angus was inspired to pursue dental technology by his father’s practice as a dental technician. Since 2002, Angus has focused on CAD/CAM technology. He managed several commercial laboratories and a dental milling centre before starting at BC DDS to build a digitally-focused dental lab.

Hannah Chau
Lab Administrator

Hannah was born and raised in Hong Kong until high school and came to Canada with her family. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Entrepreneurial Leadership Degree from Kwantlen Polytechnic University. Prior to stepping in the dental world, she was a legal administrative assistant. She started her career in the dental laboratory industry in 2006 as the Administrative Officer in a busy dental lab in Richmond, British Columbia. Her role included managing the general operation in the lab. She had learned and grown with the company until she joined the BCDDS team in September 2020. She is very grateful to work with the amazing BC DDS team and looking forward to new challenges.

Sarae Namkung, RDT
CAD/CAM Designer

Sarae has been involved in dental technology for 10 years working in dental labs in Canada as well as Korea. After graduating from CDI Dental Technology program in 2015 and passing the BC exams Sarae joined BC DDS in 2018. She works closely with the team and dentists to ensure the best outcomes for patients.

When not at work Sarae enjoys time with her family especially her young nephew and is a dog lover.

Lucy Matheson
Dental Lab Assistant

Lucy has been working for BC DDS for one year. She originally from Australia and moved to Vancouver in late 2021. She always had a passion for working hard and striving for excellence in the workplace. Although she is new to the dental industry, she loves her job and is grateful to have learned so much from the amazingly skilled lab team. She truly believes that you never know what sort of job you will love and cherish unless you take the risks of trying new things, and she is lucky to have found that with BCDDS. She looks forward to continuing to learn and grow with BC DDS.
